Kaalvit Kaalvit

Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-06-01

These terms apply to your use of Kaalvit, the daily Vedic astrology app available on iOS and Android, and at kaalvit.com. By using the app, you agree to them.

What Kaalvit is

Kaalvit provides a daily reading drawn from your natal chart, your current Vimshottari dasha, and today's gochar. The reading is meant for personal reflection. It is not professional advice on health, money, law, or relationships. Decisions in those areas should be made with the appropriate professional, not on the strength of a phone notification.

Your account

To use Kaalvit we ask for your email address. We do not store a password. We email you a one-time code at signup to verify the address, and again whenever you sign in on a new device. Keeping access to that email matters; if you lose access to it, you may lose access to your account.

You are responsible for keeping your account secure: not sharing sign-in links, not handing devices to people you do not trust with your readings.

Your content

The birth details you enter, for yourself or for someone else, are yours. You retain ownership of them. By entering them you grant us a limited licence to use them for the purpose described in our Privacy Policy: computing and delivering your readings. That licence ends when you delete your account.

If you enter birth details about another person, including a child, you represent that you have the authority to do so.

Acceptable use

Use Kaalvit for its intended purpose: your own daily readings and those of people in your life. Do not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape at scale, or otherwise interfere with the service. Do not use Kaalvit to harass, defraud, or deceive others. We may suspend accounts that are used in ways that put the service or other users at risk.

Our content

The app, its design, its written content, and the underlying rule library are the property of Kaalvit. You can use the app as intended; you cannot republish or resell its content as your own.

Astrology, honestly

Vedic astrology is a centuries-old framework for reflection. It is not deterministic, and it is not science in the modern sense. Kaalvit's readings are written carefully, but they are not guarantees, predictions, or directives. Live your life with your own judgement; let the app be one input among many.

No warranty

The app is provided as it is. We work to keep it accurate, available, and useful, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or free of error. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Kaalvit is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you have paid to use the app in the twelve months before the claim. On the free tier, that amount is zero.

Termination

You can stop using Kaalvit at any time and delete your account from within the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to the service or other users.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Dubai. If you use Kaalvit from a jurisdiction whose laws give you stronger consumer protections than these terms, those local protections apply to you regardless.

Changes

We may update these terms as the app evolves. Material changes will be noted on this page with a new "Last updated" date and flagged in-app when you next open Kaalvit. Continuing to use the app after such notice means you accept the updated terms.
