A date passes when it is a Thursday or a Friday, not in an adhika month, and the Moon is in Mrigashira, Punarvasu, Ashlesha, Magha, Purva Phalguni, Vishakha, Anuradha, Mula, Purvashadha, Purva Bhadrapada or Revati. The timing is the span of that nakshatra within the day, at least five minutes long.
